About Us

Many young people in Africa transition into higher education without acquiring essential digital skills, functional English proficiency, or foundational math literacy. This gap significantly hinders their academic success and limits future employment opportunities. St. Stephen Tech Bridge addresses this critical issue with a grassroots initiative designed to bridge the digital and academic divide by offering hands-on training in basic computer skills, practical English communication, and foundational mathematics.

Our Vision

To empower youth with the essential skills needed for the 21st century, enhancing their academic potential and preparing them for successful careers in an increasingly digital world.

Our Mission

To provide affordable yet impactful training in digital literacy, mathematics, and English to underserved students and early university entrants across various African communities, enabling them to thrive academically and professionally.

Target Audience

  • Senior high school graduates seeking further education
  • First-year university students who need foundational skills
  • Participants in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs
  • Young people residing in rural or underserved communities who lack access to essential educational resources

Partnerships

We aim to forge collaborative partnerships with:

  • Local universities and high schools to create educational pathways
  • Community centers and religious organizations to reach youth in diverse settings
  • Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and donor agencies to amplify our resources and impact
  • Tech companies and internet service providers to ensure access to digital tools and connectivity for all trainees
